A little late here, but here's myfor the week of January 14th - 21st. I have sporadic library habits! I went on the 8th, and got...
The Fetch by Laura Whitcomb
Because I loved the author's first novel, A Certain Slant of Light.
Princess of the Midnight Ball by Jessica Day George
Jessica Day George's books always have just the right amount of everything.
Sharpe's Enemy (DVD, Sharpe Series #4)
The same reason as I got the last one, although they are getting better and better with each movie. Most of the characters are solidly there, and Sharpe is growing more likable.
Looks like you got some good reads. I'll be anxious to read what you have to say about The Fetch. :)
ReplyDeleteOooh I think you'll like the fetch :)
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about Princess at the midnight ball; it looks really good
Princess of the Midnight Ball sounds like a modern fairy tale. I hope my library gets it soon! :)
ReplyDeleteMaddie and Emily Ruth - I'm currently reading The Fetch and am not entirely sure whether I'll like it or not when it's over. It seems kind of like I'll like it, but have lots of issues with it. I plan to review it when I'm finished, though!
ReplyDeleteEmily Ruth (again!) and TheBookworm - Yes, Princess of the Midnight Ball is a fairytale retelling, and I really did like it. Expect a review on Saturday!
I LOVE the fetch it's soo amazing!
